Development of new products in collaboration with the customer
New product development starts with customer data collection and analysis of key production needs. This process generates practical ideas oriented toward innovation, economic sustainability, and market evolution.
Feasibility analysis
A technical presentation follows. The concept is developed in CAD and converted into a 3D model integrated into the existing plant layout, making the project fully assessable in terms of feasibility, economic impact, timing, and planning of installation and start-up phases.
Prototype development
For Decimo Srl, prototyping is a complex challenge driven by market needs and often developed in close cooperation with the customer. A team of engineers, designers, and software specialists leads the concept, build, and test process.
Final confirmation comes from the production line: only then can the project be rigorously validated, ensuring performance and safety before transfer to production.

Our roots
We were born in packaging, specialized in beverage, and expanded by working across different sectors. The common denominator is automation. Our headquarters in Piedimonte San Germano, in the province of Frosinone, is where we develop and manufacture our projects.
Different challenges
Over the years we have addressed major challenges that enabled growth and the application of design and programming methods in different contexts: automotive and related supply chain, detergent production, contact lens processing and packaging, glass handling, paper industry, and bottling. From quality control to transport, we manage processes and applications for both primary product and secondary packaging.

We continue along the path of research and development, focusing efforts on targeted processes to optimize and refine them.

Historical and Geographical Context of the Origins of Decimo Srl

Aquinum, ancient Rome on Pontine soil, and today Aquino, is the context in which Decimo Srl was founded in 2010. The company name reflects our Italian identity, the cultural heritage of the territory, and an international outlook.
Via Giovenale in Aquino appeared to us as the most coherent starting point for the company. From a small 32-square-meter office on the edge of the medieval village, we started Decimo Srl's growth path.
When Crisis Becomes Opportunity
2010
Decimo Srl was established in February 2010 by two founding partners from a leading automatic machinery company that was facing a severe crisis.
Other technicians and engineers from the same background soon joined the team. Despite early financial difficulties linked to previous unpaid work, steady commitment quickly generated the first market results.
Filing of the first patent
2013
Faced with growing demand for faster, higher-performance packaging machines, Decimo Srl set a clear objective: developing a newly designed handle applicator capable of exceeding industry standards.
This milestone was formalized on 23/05/2013 through the filing of an Industrial Invention patent application: "Applicator arm and machine comprising said applicator arm for applying partially adhesive handles to moving objects".
One Step at a Time: From Difficulties to a New Location
2014
The earliest phase of Decimo Srl was shaped by limited resources, also due to events connected with the previous company. In this context, practical and ingenious solutions emerged.
The first project, a Cartesian pneumatic manipulator, was assembled in a founder's garage workshop. Later, cooperation with a precision mechanical engineering company enabled more complex orders. Growth then led to the acquisition of an industrial plant in Piedimonte San Germano, near Cassino, with progressive investment in people and technology.

2015
The first years of work brought Decimo Srl to the attention of major beverage players, who entrusted the company with increasingly complex orders.
These collaborations drove the need for faster and more advanced machines. In this phase, the XHE electronic handle applicator emerged as a natural evolution of the original patent and marked an important step in company growth.

Growing demand for increasingly advanced packaging machines led Decimo Srl to invest in cutting-edge technologies.
The company introduced specialist software for CAD design, business management (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), PLC programming, graphics, and 3D visualization, alongside continuous training programs.
At the same time, the team expanded with technicians, engineers, and young professionals, consolidating the technical office as a competence center supporting customers.
